This is Officer Crafton. He is our D.A.R.E. instructor. He teaches us about saying NO to drugs and other substances that can ruin your life. |
Officer Crafton is explaining what D.A.R.E means. It means drug abuse resistance education. We like to be in D.A.R.E. because it makes us feel good about ourselves. |
This is one of the D.A.R.E. students. She is proud to be in D.A.R.E., and to hold up the D.A.R.E. book. She loves being in D.A.R.E. because she now knows some smart ways to stick with good choices. |

A D.A.R.E. student and Officer Crafton are doing some role-playing. Someone wants to borrow a bike from another person. You can say no politely or more aggressively. |
Officer Crafton is explaining why D.A.R.E. is so important to have in our education. He says, "Drugs are no good for you." Many people have ruined their lives because they chose to use drugs. |
Officer Crafton makes it easy to understand what to do when somebody asks if you want to take drugs. In January we will have a D.A.R.E. assembly. D.A.R.E. graduates will listen to a special speaker, and be recognized for a job well done. |
